Keeping It Real : Pregnancy Uniform

Happy hump day! Or, shall I say bump day? Ha. Definitely, pregnancy is on the brain all day every day these days! But I digress. Back to today’s topic…

In an effort to keep it real, I share today’s everyday outfit. Sure, you know I love a chance to dress up. Whether it’s a special little white dress or a fun hot pink dress, I’m all about those dress up moments! But on a day-to-day basis, now more than ever, I am gravitating towards simple comfort.

And more often than not, that ease and comfort is taking the form of a striped cotton jersey dress. In fact, this striped racerback tank dress has been on heavy rotation. It is such an easy thing for me to wear these days — soft, comfortable, and inexpensive at less than $60. In fact, at this point, I’m considering buying it in the other color combination available.

I love that I can just throw on a denim jacket and sneakers and pretty much be ready to go. Another version of this easy casual style I’ve been embracing can be seen in this look from last week. A few more casual dresses in a similar vein can be seen here:

Simple. Comfortable. Affordable. That seems to be the name of the game for a “normal” day these days. Do you know that fashion feeling?
