Draper James Fall Collection
As you might recall, I professed my love for Reese Witherspoon’s lifestyle brand Draper James in this article earlier this summer. The summer collection embodied Southern summer living perfectly with gorgeous gingham, fruity accents, and fabulous florals. Since falling in love with that collection this summer, I’ve been eagerly anticipating the fall collection. I’ve been very interesting in seeing how that Southern charm translated to a fall collection.
Well, the fall collection does not disappoint. The collection is full of rich hues of blue, ranging from navy to teal and including denim. One particular aspect that this Southerner appreciates is that the collection is full of transitional pieces. In the south, we will continue to have hot temperatures for at least another six weeks or so. So, I appreciate that the fall Draper James pieces embrace the colors and feel of fall, without being overly heavy.
Draper James June Lace Dress
Without a doubt, my favorite item from this collection is the June lace dress. The tricolor floral lace shift dress caught my eye right away. Once my eyes moved past the lovely lace, I noticed a few more details that lend a polished, modern look to the dress: the contrast collar and the exposed zipper in the back. To top it off, the dress is fully lined, making it both demure and darling.
Further, the dress is pretty and preppy, yet practical. Here, you can see I dressed it up with some great wine colored fall accessories, like these trusty Valentino rockstuds and my bag-of-the-season, the Chloe Georgia bag. But, I’ve also already worn it dressed it down by pairing it with my favorite Golden Goose Deluxe Brand sneakers. These New Balance sneakers would be another fun styling option for the dress.

Though it was hard to narrow down our picks, here are our 20 favorite selections from Draper James fall line. Perhaps you’ll notice, as I did, that the collection shows more breadth than in season’s past. Not only does the collection contain the signature frilly frocks, but there are also casual options. The denim skirt and crop flare fringe jeans will be hugely versatile for the fall season.
