I Think I Love You, Baby
First, I really cannot thank you enough for your kind comments on yesterday’s announcement. Your love, support, and encouragement truly mean the world. As I shared, the whole situation has been a surprise, and thus a big whirlwind of emotions. Well, thanks to y’all, yesterday was full of lots of happy tears. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Second, when I saw this sweater pop up online recently, I just had to have it. Seriously could it be more perfect? Sure – it could work for a number of sentiments and scenarios. But it just jumped out at me for obvious reasons. I had fun mixing it with some floral accessories like these Gucci sneakers, Gucci tote bag, and Prada bracelet.
Plus, how perfectly do the floral accents pair with this wall? We had so much fun discovering this cute little place in Dallas last week. If you’re in Dallas, go to Emporium Pies in Deep Ellum. So cute!
Speaking of flowers, we had fun meetieng up with our friend Franzie of Franzie’s Flower Design in Houston. She happened to be in Dallas at the same time, so we took the chance to catch up. And actually, the Gucci floral tote bag belongs to her. I borrowed it from her briefly, as I’m considering it as a diaper bag. Thoughts?

Ah, such a perfect sweater for this time in your life! Love, love the bag. My own opinion on diaper bags…they will take a lot of abuse and be placed in some yucky places when you are out and about with your new baby (restaurant bathrooms for instance). Not sure if I would use that beautiful bag for that. Just my own perhaps far too practical opinion 🙂
