Draper James Dress

Draper James Meadow Garden Knit Dress Styled 2 Ways

First, does this print look familiar? If so, you win a gold star for paying attention around here! Ha. Indeed, I love this print so much I have it in two forms… You saw the meadow garden print in shirt form here in this Super Bowl outfit post. And now I’m sharing the dress version of this lovely meadow garden print.

Second, I’m continuing with the momentum from yesterday and again showing you two ways to style this dress. In fact, I think these two posts show something that I’m really into these days: finding and wearing versatile pieces. Indeed, I love things that can take me from day to night. But even more so, I like it when I can change the whole mood up based on how I style it. And I think that’s what you’ll find here…

For the first look, I gave the sweet print a little edge with my new favorite moto jacket and metallic accessories, like my Gucci loafers. On the other hand, I gave the vine print dress a sweet, yet sporty, look with this super soft cardigan (last seen here) plus these blush New Balance sneakers (also seen here).

So, now, let your voice be heard… Which styling is your favorite? Which way would you be likely to wear this dress?

Finally, in general, do you like this idea of sharing multiple ways to style a piece? Please do let us know!

    Hi Carrie,
The J Crew New Balance pink sneakers are really cute. Wow, those silver ASOS dupes are really close to the real Gucci’s. At least in the photo 🙂

      Thanks, Sheri!

The sneakers are super comfortable too. Yay.

Julie is really great at finding good alternatives, like those shoes.

      Thank you, and yes!!

  3. i love the posts featuring one item two ways! i agree that “day to night” doesn’t illustrate much anymore. every such tip is always along the lines of: “add a bold lip, add statement jewelry, take off blazer.” here i love your casual look. my goal this year is to elevate my weekend, casual, mom-duty looks and this helps!!

I honestly love both, but I guess I have to pick the one with the moto jacket because I’m so obsessed with it on you! xo Julie
