If you follow along on with my adventures on Instagram, you probably noticed I was in Dallas over the weekend. That’s because I was fortunate enough to be invited to rewardStyle’s annual conference at which they host the top 200 style blogging publishers from around the world.
In case you aren’t familiar with rewardStyle, here’s a little background… Founded four short years ago by young Dallas couple Amber Venz Box and Baxter Box, the company has built a suite of tools that allows top tier publishers to monetize their digital content. Basically, they are a style blogger’s best friend! What they have created allows us in the world of fashion blogging to do what we do and continue to bring you great content day after day.
Thank you, Amber and Baxter! I love seeing the entrepreneurial spirit alive and well – particularly in young Texans!
I personally love to learn. I thrive on that! And the conference was full of great learning opportunities. It also provided a great chance to network with brands and other publishers. I came back energized and excited about the possibilities here at Wear + Where + Well.
On a related side note… The conference certainly made me reflect with a grateful heart on all has happened here in just six short months since I launched this site. A sincere thank you to all of you for your support! Without you, there would be no need for this site.

I think the Tibi top is my favourite (and that little camera – so cute).
I have no idea if you are interested in featuring any Canadian designers at some point on your blog (and I have no vested interest in any designers), but I have purchased a few key work pieces from Judith and Charles for work. They are excellent quality and “tailored in Canada” (not sure where they are made – perhaps overseas). The service in their shop in Pacific Centre (a higher end mall in Vancouver) is top rate. Just in case you were interested in some good old Canadian content 🙂
