Given that this is my third post in the last four related to Giuseppe Zanotti, it is fair to say I am #TeamGZ… 😉

Seriously, though… As a long time admirer of his shoe designs (who isn’t?), getting to know Giuseppe Zanotti (GZ) and his team has been a fashion delight. Having them consider me a member of the family is a complete honor.

Dallas Store Opening

Last week, I made perhaps the quickest, briefest trip ever from Houston to Dallas to join the GZ team to celebrate the recent opening of their newest store. Located in Highland Park Village, the new store fits in beautifully with its upscale neighbors such as Ralph Lauren, Hermes, DVF, rag & bone, Anthropologie, and so many more.

Co-hosted by Vogue, the event was a beautiful celebration filled with beautiful people. DJ Lucy Wrubel kept the atmosphere fun and lively while we all sipped cocktails and admired the Italian designer’s shoes and accessories.

One of my personal highlights of the evening was meeting and visiting with so many Dallasites, especially some of my online friends and fellow bloggers, including Amy Jackson of Fashion Jackson, the Flowers sisters of The Perennial Style, Kimberly Whitman, Krystal Schlegel, Merritt Beck of The Style Scribe, Sage Coralli of So Sage, and so many more lovely ladies.

While the Dallas store might be the latest to open, it’s certainly not the last. Without giving away too many details, I’ll just say that there are several more openings planned for 2015 both in the US and outside of the US. Fellow Houston gals – get ready for our own GZ store in the new River Oaks District this fall!

Shop My Look:

Victoria by Victoria Beckham dress (here; reasonably priced option here; inexpensive option here) | Giuseppe Zanotti gold sandals (here; reasonably priced options here and here; inexpensive option here) | Anita Ko gold stud earrings (here; inexpensive options here and here) | Noir NYC necklace (similar here; inexpensive options here and here) | Paula Mendoza bracelet (here; inexpensive option here) | Nancy Gonzalez croc clutch (here; reasonably priced option here; inexpensive option here) | Nars lipstick (here) | OPI nail polish (here)

Side note: In an effort to provide more affordable ways to get my look, I’ll be providing more alternatives to the exact items I’m wearing. Of course, price and budget are such a relative thing. But for now, I’ll be using these relative terms to indicate these price ranges: “reasonably priced” = less than $500, “inexpensive” = less than $100. I hope this will be helpful as you seek to look chic on your personal budget!

Wow – thanks, Ashley! What a nice thing to say. I think personal style is so hard to define. But when others notice something distinct, that’s a good thing.

      Thanks again. 🙂
