A sunny summer day of shopping in Beverly Hills, California

Why:

Hmmm… what to wear for a summer shopping outing in Beverly Hills? For me, the three keys to this style scenario are comfort, color, and change-ability.

1. Comfort: By “comfort”, I mean that laid back California vibe… a simple cotton tee shirt, a breezy midi skirt, and flat sandals. While I am normally a high heels sort of gal, I embrace the practicality of flats when the situation calls for it. A full day of walking up and down Rodeo and Beverly Drives certainly calls for it!

2. Color: As for color, how can you not be inspired by the beautiful bright colors of California? Blue skies, palm trees, and blooming flowers every where you look! Taking inspiration from nature is always a good idea.

3. Change-ability: Okay, I think I just made up that word. Ha! But you ladies understand… When you are walking from store to store, in dressing room after dressing room, trying on multiple items of clothing, you need to be wearing something which is easy to change into and out of over and over again.

So, that’s my recipe for a sunny summer day of shopping in Beverly Hills. What would you wear?

PS – I’m looking forward to making a return trip to Beverly Hills next week!
