Winter Weather + Cozy Time

Written by Hannah Lyons

Hello everyone and happy Friday! First off, winter weather is upon us and it’s time to snuggle up and shop our 17 favorite cozy items. Secondly, I’d like to bring up that the holiday season sparks a joyous and yet… stressful time. It seems as though everyone is suffering from a severe case of sniffles and can’t catch a break. Trust us, we get it. For the Wear + Where + Well team, December brings a month of toil. While we absolutely adore what we do, we occasionally have to remind ourselves to take some time and breathe + relax, thus bringing us to today’s Friday + Favorite + Finds theme, “Let’s Get Cozy”.

Friday Favorite Finds: 17 Must-Have Cozy Items to Keep Warm

Today’s collage of favorites brought me extreme difficulty when deciphering what items I wanted to share. Being a college student, my entire winter wardrobe consists of almost all of the below items. I have far too many favorite winter items to share in a single post! Nevertheless, I pinned down my top 17 items to enjoy the cold. So cozy up in bed, grab some hot cocoa and shop away!

Spotlight: Few of My Favorites

Okay, I can’t help but confab on some of these items. Read below on why I absolutely obsess over my slippers, throw and more!

  • #6 – First off, can we just take a moment of silence for this blanket’s color? Adoring the “salmon” hue. Next, let me just tell you how much I use my throw during cold weather season. Whether I’m laying on the couch, netflixing it up, or doing homework in bed, you know that my throw is wrapped around me. Also, a throw is the perfect holiday gift. In fact, I bought my best friend one this year!
  • #8 – To be honest, I never used to be a fan of Ugg until I bought my first pair of boots. Oh my gosh. Ever since I slipped my feet into those furry + extremely warm boots, my winter self can’t get enough. My second purchase from Ugg were these slippers. I seriously can’t brag about them enough. As fashionably horrid this may be, I wear these slippers everywhere and I mean everywhere. Sorry, they are just too cozy to take off!
    • Note: #10 are Uggs! Yes, this is no joke. I am definitely putting these on my Christmas list. Did I mention they are also water resistant? Now I don’t have to wear my slippers everywhere 😉
  • #17 – The minute I saw these leggings, I instantly fell in love. I’m a huge fan of neutral colors, so I totally dig the gray. Really also adore that they’re high waisted. Everyone has their favorite pair of leggings and these so happen to be mine!

Some Last Words…

I end with some insight from the King of Christmas himself, Charles Dickens…

I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys.

Hopefully, we can all take these words to heart and remember the true meaning of the holiday season. Have a wonderful weekend everyone. As always, sending positive vibes your way!

    Hi Hannah,
What a great list of goodies. The Charles Dicken’s quote is beautiful.

    Happy Friday,
