Friday Favorite Finds: Focus on Pink

Happy Friday everyone!

With school starting back up for me, things have been a little crazy! But I am extremely happy to finally return back to writing for the blog. Getting back into the swing of college life is exciting, especially because I am officially a senior. Hooray!

Even more important, let’s talk fashion — specifically about a new favorite color of mine. While it may come to a surprise, pink is one of the new “it” colors for fall 2016.

Don’t worry, if you aren’t feeling bright shades of pink, blush is in too. Who would have thought that a usual summer/spring tone can now be worn in fall months? We are definitely not ones to complain about this trend.

As always, we try to pick a Friday Favorite Finds theme that is relevant to current trends. This week we were specifically inspired by J.Crew’s slew of new arrivals in the shade they are calling wild flamingo. Can we talk about this darling pink peacoat? I think we can all agree this item is a fall necessity.

While the color pink may seem daring, don’t be afraid to try out it out. Start by wearing the color in small statement pieces like earrings or a scarf. This will help you decide if you even like it, which I guarantee you will. No matter the person, a little pink can make you smile. I know it certainly makes Carrie and me smile!
