A Special Charitable Invitation

Hi to all of you! Today, I have a special invitation for my fellow Houstonians…

Tomorrow, I’ll be hosting a charitable event at Baanou in River Oaks District. The event is in collaboration with The Vintage Contessa.

On a personal note, I’m thrilled to partner with both Maryam of Baanou and Donae of The Vintage Contessa. These two ladies are dear friends, fellow fashion lovers, and kind, generous souls.

Here are the event details:

So, stop by, sip champagne and enjoy light bites, browse clothes, jewelry, and bags, and support a great cause.

I hope to see you there!

About Recipe for Success

Recipe for Success Foundation just celebrated its tenth anniversary. Gracie Cavnar launched the organization in 2005. The mission is to lead the way in combatting childhood obesity by changing the way children understand, appreciate and eat their food. Additionally, Recipe for Success aims to help the community provide healthier diets for our kids. The organization’s initiatives promote a culture where nutritious food is shared, appreciated, and celebrated in Houston and nationwide.

I serve as a board member for Recipe for Success. So, I can personally attest to the tenacity and effectiveness with which the organization tackles its mission.

About The Vintage Contessa

The Vintage Contessa is a fabulous boutique based in Houston, shipping globally to vintage aficionados around the world. They offer a curated collection of timeless, authentic, luxury vintage bags, leather goods and jewelry. You’ll find there designers such as Chanel, Hermes, and Louis Vuitton, and many more.

Most noteworthy, Donae and her husband Rob source and purchase each and every item personally. Throughout the year, they travel the world to source only the most beautiful items, all of which are 100% authentic and in mint condition. This personal touch shines through in everything they do!

About Baanou

Located in the posh new River Oaks District, Baanou is the only locally-owned boutique in the shopping center. Maryam Afshari, a former accounting executive, founded Baanou a few years ago with the goal of creating a boutique recognized for its highly-edited mix of world-class fashions and unmatched customer service. Inspired by her own west coast style, Maryam happily brings progressive fashion to Houston.

In Closing

Ladies – let me know if you have any questions. Otherwise, I hope to see you tomorrow!
