We’re Back!

Did you miss us? Well, we sure missed you! We surely didn’t mean to just go missing during the first week of the year.

And lest you think we just took an extended holiday break, let us explain… We took the first full week of the year for reflection, strategizing, and planning. In fact, we were able to get (almost) the whole team together in person in Houston! That’s something that rarely happens since we’re all so spread out and so busy. So, that in itself was hugely valuable.

What did we talk about? Well, in short…

1. What did we do well in 2016?
2. What can we do better in 2017?

We discussed this and more – all through the lens of data analytics. Given my background as an engineer and a finance professional, I love numbers! Give me data, and I’ll sift through it to find whatever gems of insight can be gained.

And that’s just what we did. Lots of reflection and then lots of strategizing and planning…

This is a business, after all. So, we want to do everything we can and get better every day.

Thoughts on 2016?

Before we go any further though and completely close the door on 2016, we’d like to do one more thing: ask you, our customer, for your thoughts on 2016. So, please, tell us:

What You Can Expect in 2017

Well, we have lots of exciting ideas in the works, but I’ll highlight three things you can expect here in 2017:

Colorful, Happy, Modern Content

As we discussed the Wear + Where + Well brand, we talked at length about what unifies all of our content. These three defining words kept coming to mind:

1. Colorful 

2. Happy

3. Modern

So, no matter what the topic around here – whether fashion, travel, food, wellness, or a completely new category – you can expect it to be delivered in a colorful, happy, modern way! These three common threads will continue to run throughout our content in 2017.

Everyday Outfits

Furthermore, starting today, we plan to address the biggest request we get around here: more everyday outfits. 

Correct me if I’m wrong, but from the bit of reader feedback we’ve gathered, it seems you all would love to see more everyday outfits at accessible price points. While you love the fashion forward articles (don’t worry – we will continue those!), you’d also like to see more of what we wear day-to-day.

Well, your wish is our command. Starting today, you’ll find (almost) daily everyday outfit inspiration here. Our plan is to publish fresh looks four days a week!

Even More Content

I’ll share more details on this next week. But for now, I’ll just tease that soon you can expect new, fresh content twice a day here on Wear + Where + Well.
