The 2 Fashion Accessories That Always Get Noticed

Today I’d like to share with you a recurring theme that happens when I travel… Without fail, I always get questions and comments about my bag and my shoes.

“Where did you get those?”

“Those look so comfortable!”

“What kind of material is that bag made from?”

These are a just a few of the questions I get asked regularly when I am sporting these two items. Both items are fashionable yet functional for travel and everyday life.

Bao Bao Issey Miyake Bags

Introduced in 2000, Bao Bao is a line of bags by Issey Miyake – a label that focus on wearable modern art. The Japanese designers base these bags on the concept of “shapes made by chance.” Meanwhile, others have likened the fluidity of the bags to that of origami. The comparison is very apropos, as the bags seem to mold to take the shape of their contents.

At once light, soft, durable, and sturdy, the bags are quite possibly the perfect everyday tote bag. I load mine up with my MacBook computer, a magazine or two, my wallet, and all the other daily and travel essentials. The functionality is perfect for the modern women on the go. Simple shapes have never looked more fashion-forward.

I first bought a white Bao Bao Issey Miyake bag a few years ago, and then I added a silver one to my closet last year. Currently, I am carrying the silver tote daily. The bags are extremely great quality for the price point.

Golden Goose Deluxe Brand Sneakers

Also founded in 2000, this Italian shoe label is focused on utilitarian footwear with impeccable Italian craftsmanship and a huge fashionable component.

Golden Goose sneakers have that comfy, cozy, broken-in look. In fact, they not only have that look, but that feel too. Inside, they have a terrycloth like fabric that makes it feel as though you are wearing the most comfortable house slippers you own!

Truth be told, I have acquired three pairs of Golden Goose sneakers over the last couple of years. This is coming from a girl who used to wear only high heels! The sneakers are just that good. The more you wear them, the better they look and feel.

I have lived in my Golden Goose sneakers this summer. Just yesterday, I realized that I have worn these sneakers more this summer than I have worn sandals.
