This is part two of a two part series of how to style a romper for both day and night…

3 Tips for Taking a Romper from Day to Night

Previously, I shared with you here how I wore this romper during the day. Now, let’s talk about how I transitioned that same piece for a night out on the town. With today’s busy pace of life, we can surely all appreciate a versatile piece that works all day!

1. Trade in the tote

Day time calls for practicality, while night time doesn’t necessarily require that. Trade in your carry-all tote for something totally impractical if you’d like, like a small chic clutch or evening bag.

2. Bring a blazer

A blazer inherently adds structure any look. When wearing a romper, the blazer will elevate the look from playful to sophisticated. Plus, it might come in handy for chilly evenings.

3. Make a statement

Lose the understated casual shoes and jewelry. Go for some alluring statement heels like these beauties from Aquazzura. They may be black, but they are anything but basic! Finally, add a statement piece of jewelry. I gravitate towards bold necklaces, like this one-of-a-kind handmade beauty from Empire State Finery.

As you can see, just a few simple changes in accessories can keep this look going in an appropriate way from day to night.
