While florals may not be groundbreaking for spring, we are loving the notion for fall.
In fact, the trend is springing up everywhere. After the Fall / Winter fashion shows back in February 2015, Glamour magazine named florals as one of the most wearable trends to emerge from the runways. Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) highlighted the “moody blooms” trend as well.
Keeping florals season appropriate is easier than it might seems. Here are two tips.
- Color palette: Make the mood sultry and sophisticated by choosing a dark background. Besides the obvious black option, rich reds work really well.
- Fabric pairing: Pair the florals with heavier fall-ready materials like denim, leather, and even flannel.
