Farfetch : The Online Destination
Are you familiar with Farfetch, the online shopping destination? Farfetch is one of my favorite retail sites, as noted by its inclusion in my Wear + Where + Well boutique listing.
Why is Farfetch one of my favorites online stores? Because it is so much more than just one store! It is an online community of over 300 hand-selected fashion, forward local, brick-and-mortar boutiques from around the globe! Farfetch has carefully curated a special collection of boutiques with over 1,000 labels all united under one e-commerce site.
I love the notion that I can have the convenience of online shopping while still supporting local businesses. I can share my favorite Houston finds from Laboratoria with you all. Plus, I can shop from some of the wonderful stores I’ve discovered through my travels like Forty Five Ten in Dallas, McMullen Boutique in Northern California, and The Webster in Miami.
Farfetch : Summer Road Trip
When Farfetch invited me to join them on a summer “road trip” across the US with a stop in Houston, I jumped at the chance to feature one of my favorite Houston boutiques: Laboratoria. I consider Laboratoria to be the most fashion forward boutique in Houston. Owner Tatiana Massey has a keen eye for emerging designers, always staying a step ahead of the fashion game.
If you live in Houston and haven’t yet visited Laboratoria, do so immediately! The store is filled with inspiration throughout, both in the form of fashion and the art adorning its walls. Case in point: this mathematical backdrop I found in the store. You know the engineer in me couldn’t resist posing in front of this equation, hand penned by a University of Houston student.
If you live outside of Houston, you too are in luck. Because of Farfetch, you can shop the entire inventory of this fabulous boutique online.
