Hello everyone, TGIF! I hope everyone has had a superb and smooth week. Personally, this week has sped by way too fast, and I feel like I’m playing catch up from spring break. You feel me? Anyway, I’ve finally caught a break to write on a subject that I’m super passionate about! Today we’re talking about my favorite music, specifically a personal fave artist of mine, BØRNS.

I Have BØRNS On My Brain

A Day At SXSW

No doubt, I have music on the brain. Last week, my best friend and I spent the day at SXSW in Austin, Texas. As always, I was culturally inspired by the city’s hip vibes and diverse population. In our quick day trip, we met up with friends, grabbed a quick snack at Voodoo Donuts, and caught some fresh beats and live music ft. Pell and Bridgit Mendler. Ultimately, the day was as equally tiresome as it was memorable.

A Bit On BÓRNS

Furthermore, that brings me to my favorite artist. Last year at SXSW my fangirl dreams came true when I saw BØRNS perform live at Waterloo Records. Talk about one of the best days of my life. I’m what you’d call a Spotify feen and am constantly playing music. I’d like to think my life has its own personal soundtrack (ha!).

Not to mention, some of my fave music genres consist of alternative music, including electronic dance, alternative rock, and indie. BØRNS falls under the indie/psychedelic pop genre. His music is super unique and upbeat. His voice is refreshingly high pitched, all while very smooth and addictive to listen to.
