Happy International Creativity and Innovation Day!
Written by Hannah Lyons
Hey guys – Hannah, here! Firstly, I hope everyone had a great past week and Easter holiday. I know for myself, life has been a bit chaotic, as I’m graduating from college in just less than a month. It’s crazy to think about. Nevertheless, I’m super excited to take some steps towards my future!
Anyway, let’s talk about today’s Friday ‘Inspired By‘ concept – creativity and innovation!
Yes, there’s such a holiday for the celebration of creativity and innovation. And I’m definitely not complaining. As a matter of fact, the rest of the team and I will celebrate the two things that drive us to do what we love most, creativity and innovation, any day of the week! Considering a life without imagination and originality means considering a boring and colorless life, at least in my opinion. With this in mind, today is a day we celebrate what makes life unpredictable and fun!

So, in the relevance of today’s holiday, we’re spotlighting a personal favorite individual. A close Houstonian friend of Carrie’s, we couldn’t think of anyone better than Ashley Rose. Not to mention, she’s a macaron artist expert (see what I mean here) and fellow blogger. Ashley is the founder and creative director of Sugar & Cloth. In case you’re unfamiliar with this lovely lady, check out her Instagram here. There, you’ll find pictures of her most recent travels and DIY ventures. As well, read how Sugar & Cloth started. Upon reading, you’ll agree that Ashley is a ‘creativity and innovation’ superstar. By combining passion with business, Ashley and the Sugar & Cloth team have created a one-of-a-kind blog + digital brand.
