Try the Fall Lace-Up Trend
Written by Hannah Lyons
Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone has been enjoying the month of September. With temperatures decreasing and football season upon us, I can’t help but indulge myself with all things fall (i.e. boots, pumpkin everything, and fun festivities). Because the season of fall is here, it’s time to share one of the most popular current trends. In case you’ve missed it, the lace-up trend is taking over, and we are in total support!
While hesitant at first, it didn’t take me long to hop on the lace-up bandwagon, specifically lace-up tops. They are a bit “boho-esque” (my new word) and can be worn with seriously anything and everything. I personally love wearing them on evenings out or to tailgates and football games. They are appropriate for almost any occasion which makes me and my busy schedule very happy.
Not to mention, the lace-up trend doesn’t just apply to tops. Check out these striking booties and skirt. My personal fave example of the lace-up trend is in the sleeves of this Free People jacket. So boho chic, right?
Madewell Denim Lace-Up Top
The first thing I should mention is that the minute my eye caught sight of this top, I knew I had to have it. I absolutely adore denim for the fall! And this top works perfectly paired with fall colors and boots.
Lately, I’ve been drawn to simple wash denim. The Madewell top and these jeans are perfect examples. A simpler wash makes it easier to pair denim pieces with other pieces. Because of the simplicity of the top, I paired it with loud patterned pants and colorful slip-on mules.
Besides loving the look of the top, I was extremely happy with the fit of the blouse. Even though it is denim, it wasn’t too stiff. In fact, the material is quite breathable. To top it all off, the short sleeves weren’t too long nor too tight.
And if it couldn’t get any better, this top is on sale! If, however, you missed out on getting this exact top in your size, never fear! We’ve rounded up a bunch of other denim lace-up tops for you to try.
Finally, thank you so much for visiting Wear + Where + Well. Make sure to comment below and share your opinion on this trend. Is this a yay or nay for you? Come back soon and as always, sending positive vibes your way!
