How to Make 3 Delicious and Healthy Smoothies

It’s a new year and many of us are trying to start the year off right with more mindful food choices. Today’s post is three smoothies that will help you get your fresh start this year. These smoothies are not only pretty to look at, but they taste delicious and they are full of fruits and vegetables.
Carrot Orange Smoothie
This carrot orange smoothie tastes like fresh orange and pineapple juice. The carrots add a pop of color and some vegetable goodness to start your day.
- 1/2 Cups coconut milk
- 1/2 Cup yogurt, plain
- 1 Orange, cut up
- 2-3 Carrots, chopped
- 2/3 Pineapple chunks, frozen
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. If using fresh pineapple, add some ice before blending.
Cucumber Pineapple Smoothie
You will really enjoy this cucumber pineapple smoothie. The pineapple gives this smoothie a tropical taste. The cucumber and spinach give this smoothie a boost of vegetables and a taste that is very refreshing.
- 1/2 Cup cucumber, sliced
- 1 Cup pineapple, frozen or fresh
- 1/2 Banana
- 1/4 Cup almond milk or non-dairy milk
- 1/2 Cup water
- 1 Cup of spinach
- 6 Ice cubes
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
Strawberry Banana Smoothie
You can’t get a better tasting smoothie than this strawberry banana smoothie. It is so creamy and has a taste that will remind you of fresh spring berries.
- 1 Cup ice
- 1 1/2 Cups strawberries
- 1/2 Cup yogurt, plain
- 1 Banana
- 1/2 Cup almond milk or non-dairy milk
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
