NYFW SS 2016 : Day 1
As Carrie Bradshaw famously said on Sex and the City, “Every year the women of New York leave the past behind and look forward to the future. This is known as fashion week.”
Well, after an early morning flight plus some delays, I finally descended upon rainy New York City for New York Fashion Week (NYFW) yesterday. Though I missed a brunch hosted by my friend Morgan at Buru, I did manage to make a couple shows, have a few great meetings, and catch up with a few friends. The rain certainly didn’t dampen my day 1 here in the city!
Just a heads up: I’ll plan to have a new post up each morning with my NYFW look of the day. I may keep my verbiage short for now, but trust me – I’ll be sure to share a full recap once all the craziness subsides.

Isn’t it cute? I got super lucky because my friends from Moda Operandi left that as a surprise in my hotel room since there was so much rain in the forecast – and it matched my outfit perfectly! 🙂
