Game Day Ready with Draper James

Are you ready for some football? The biggest game day of the year is just on the horizon, and our home city of Houston is playing host! Whether you’re going to the actual game, watching from a bar with friends, or having a party of your own, you want to dress the part, of course. Well, check out this simple but cute idea, courtesy of Draper James.

If you’ve been around here very long, you know that we are big fans of Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James – see here and here for just a couple examples. What’s not to love about their feminine southern style and beautiful prints?

So, for the base of my game day look, I chose a Draper James printed tee. I gravitated towards the blue and white color scheme plus added some red accents. Of course, the color palette is a nod to the New England Patriots who are playing in the big game. But it’s also an all-around All-American color combo. And what’s more American than football?

Did you notice the bag? It’s also from Draper James. In fact, this is their first foray into handbags, and I love the results! I absolutely adore the fun print in red, white, and blue. In the end, this fun look can take you from the big game to an afternoon of shopping and lunch with girlfriends to a date night with your beau.
