Meet the Designer: Ripley Rader

Today I’m happy to introduce you to a new designer: Ripley Rader. In fact, even I was unfamiliar with the brand myself until they reached out about collaborating with us here at Wear + Where + Well. After asking some questions and trying the product, I’m now a big fan! And I’m sure you will be too.

Founded in 2013 in Los Angeles by Ripley Rader, the label was born out of her personal desire to find that one go-to outfit that was both easy to wear and flattering. That desire led to her creating her line of jumpsuits, the signature pieces of the brand. The jumpsuits embody that effortless west coast style.

Given her success with the jumpsuit line, the designer jumpsuits became the signature of the company. And although she is often known as “the jumpsuit designer” in LA, Ripley has grown her line beyond that to be a full ready-to-wear collection now.

While the brand is still relatively young, it has developed a great reputation. And that highly regarded reputation is for good reason! Not only is the label based in LA and inspired by LA, but all of the clothes are made in LA! That’s right – 100% made in the USA goods. Furthermore, Rader gives back to the community by teaching design classes to high-risk teen girls.

Ripley Rader Backless Halter Jumpsuit

As for the jumpsuits, they really are wonderful. The quality and comfort they deliver for such a reasonable price point is truly a winning combination. Out of all the jumpsuits offered, I chose the backless halter jumpsuit. I really liked the backless aspect, as I thought it brought a unique feature to the look of this designer jumpsuit. The draping construction and the gathered waist both make this extremely flattering. Meanwhile, the microfiber material makes it super comfortable, creating a seamless flow and movement.

This Ripley Rader backless halter jumpsuit outfit really is one of the best combinations of comfort, functionality, and style all wrapped up in one piece.
