Splurge vs. Save : White

Happy Friday, guys! We’re so excited because today we’re introducing a new series : splurge vs. save. We thought it would be a fun one to kick off during the summer, and we hope you love it. Of course, it’s not necessarily something new; there are plenty of these types of posts out there. However, we’ve spent lots and lots of time finding some of our very favorite picks, searching far and wide, and we’ve kept it to a small amount of items so we can talk about each one and why they are favorites of ours.

As always, we would love to hear your feedback. We want to know if you like it, don’t like it, have any suggestions, what you’d like featured in future installments, and so on!

We decided the first installment would be on a favorite summer color : white. There are so many beautiful white items out there, all perfect for the season ahead.

White

Off-the-shoulder dress :

Espadrille platform sneakers :

These are one of the hottest shoe styles out right now. It combines the beloved fashion sneaker and the espadrille, which is always a summer essential. Feminine blouse :

Of course, it goes without saying, a white blouse is not only a summer must have, but really a year round essential. Shoulder bag :

Panama hat :

The look of a panama hat is effortless and downright cool. It’s functional (always protect your skin from the sun!) and stylish. Jean jacket :

I live in my denim jacket. Even though it’s incredibly humid and hot here in Houston, it’s freezing pretty much everywhere you go. And my denim jacket has been my go-to. And I love it in white. Crochet / embroidered blouse :

Aside from a more basic white blouse, you’ll also want a dressier one for nights out. Think crochet or embroidered.
