Okay, I hope you’re ready… This is the week of catching up on New York Fashion Week (NYFW) and Milan Fashion Week (MFW) looks!
This day of NYFW held one of the shows I most highly anticipated… dreamy Delpozo! I’ve been an admirer of Delpozo and creative director Josep Font for a while now. You might recall me singing the praises of Delpozo here. I wore this striking red Delpozo dress to NYFW last September. His designs stand out as truly unique, which is hard to do in this world saturated with designers.
By the way, the Delpozo show on this day did not disappoint! I’ll share a detailed runway review very soon…
It was only fitting that on this day I wore another of my favorite Delpozo pieces.
In fact, this is one of my favorite pieces of all time. This belted cape style wool and mohair blend coat embodies the spirit of Delpozo: impeccable craftsmanship, luxurious fabrics, and innovative design. In addition, the pink and blue colored check pattern certainly won my heart over as well.
The entire look was based around this statement piece, with the rest of the pieces playing only a supporting role in winter white and neutral tones. Granted, if you know me at all, you know I had to add a couple more pops of colors with my accessories.
