Cynthia Rowley : The Designer
Cynthia Rowley is one of those lines that unfortunately slips my mind from time to time. That is only because some of the online retailers that I frequent may not carry her line regularly. But each time I reacquaint myself with her designs, I am blown away! (In fact, one of the very first blog posts I ever wrote was centered around a fabulous rainbow striped skirt of hers from last summer.)
This summer, I am again head over heals enamored with Cynthia Rowley – especially when it comes to her dresses. You might recall me wearing this little white dress in this post. Also, I just sported this little black number (on sale!) in Palm Springs last week.
What draws me to her designs is the energy they convey. The designs are always feminine and flirty, but with a an easy laid back vibe, a burst of vibrancy, and often an unexpected twist. The fabrics she employs are unique, whether it be intricate eyelet designs like with this dress I’m wearing (which is on sale!) or cool printed neoprene fabrics like with this dress (also on sale). I have been so impressed with the quality.
