Happy November! When did that happen?
With the end of the year upon us, you might be thinking about some things you did or did not accomplish yet this year. Even though there’s no good or bad time to chase after those dreams and opportunities, sometimes they simply fall by the wayside. And when the year comes to a close, you may think about what you wish you would have done or could have done.
So, let me ask you something.
Why haven’t you done it?
I know, I know. It’s not always that simple. And sometimes you might think to yourself It didn’t work out because I wasn’t given the opportunity. Or maybe you’ve thought It seems like x, y, or z falls in other people’s laps, and I’m over here doing my best, but I still can’t make x, y, or z happen.
The thing is, opportunities aren’t always going to greet you with a hug and a big old smile. In fact, they might not greet you at all. But that doesn’t mean you can’t create the opportunity. That doesn’t mean you can’t make it happen.
If it doesn’t seem like things are in your favor or opportunities aren’t presenting themselves to you, well, then present yourself to them. In the end, it’ll be that much more rewarding because you worked that much harder for it.
