Last Minute Memorial Day Weekend Fashion Essentials

Hi guys! Can you believe Memorial Day is just days away? I’m so excited for the upcoming long weekend. If the weather holds out, I’ll be on the lake most of it, and I’m hoping to get lots of sun! I know summer doesn’t officially start until later in June (the 20th to be exact!), but once Memorial Day comes around, that carefree season we all know and love essentially begins, at least in my book! We’re kicking off summer next week on Wear + Where + Well. In fact, we just wrapped a shoot about an hour ago that you’ll see more of very soon, and let’s just say, it had me craving days spent by the pool and weekends away at the beach.

Speaking of weekends away, are any of you going away for MDW? Of course, it’s a pretty popular weekend for travel with that extra day off (why can’t all weekends be three days long?). If you are planning on going away on a summer vacation this weekend or at any point over the next few months, indeed, you’ll want to keep scrolling.

When it comes to summer travel, clothing that comes to mind includes items that are bright, lightweight, breathable, and simply fun. It’s not the time to take your clothing all too serious. Really, the more color the better!
