Fashion Meets Interior Design

Happy Wednesday, my friends! Let’s take things in a bit of a different direction today, shall we?

Today, I’ve partnered with Jacquin of Interiors by Jacquin.  An award-winning interior design blogger specializing in online decorating services, she hosts a wonderfully creative series on her blog called Fashion Meets Design, which marries fashion and interior design.

How could I not be inspired by this beautiful room image that she provided me? Do you see the inspiration reflected in my look? Hop over to her blog to read more about exactly how the room inspired my outfit… Hint: I was influenced by the room in three different ways!

Bonus style tip: Never be afraid to re-purpose an item in a manner beyond its primary purpose. Here, I’ve let a one-piece swimsuit double as a body suit paired with a skirt.
