Ann Taylor Striped Swing Sweater Dress
Hi ladies – happy Wednesday! How’s your week been so far? Mine has been busy with a combination of behind-the-scenes work and baby preparations. I’m at that phase of washing all the clothes and blankets, getting things organized around the home, and of course going to frequent doctor’s appointments. Shifting gears, I’m excited to share with you this Ann Taylor striped swing sweater dress today…
Don’t you just love when one garment is pretty much an outfit unto itself? That’s how I felt about this (non-maternity) dress. It’s polished, bold, and flattering. Throw it on, add a necklace, bag, and pumps, and you’re good to go! Plus, it just feels good on. It has a tiny bit of spandex that makes it somewhat stretchy, plus the material is thick enough that it doesn’t show any lumps or bumps underneath. With the exception of my pregnancy bump. 😉
In my estimation, it’s hard to beat the value of items like this from Ann Taylor. The quality you get for the price point is excellent.
A Quick Tip About Workwear
Even if you work in a corporate office environment, there is no reason to be a shrinking violet. Don’t shy away from color or pattern. Believe me, I worked in a very conservative office environment for years, and I still would have felt entirely comfortable in this. Everything about this dress is totally office appropriate.
If I wore this to the office in the summer, I’d probably pair it with a white blazer or a beige blazer and coordinating closed toe pumps. Remember – embrace whatever reflects your personality, even in the office. Life is always better when you are true to yourself, even in the fashion realm.
In Closing
Finally, make sure you caught my post earlier this week about my baby shower. It was really special to me, and I’m happy to share it with you. Plus, you don’t want to miss this pretty pineapple print! And come back later today for lots of ideas on what to pack for Memorial Day weekend and tomorrow for a refreshing summer cocktail recipe.
Until then, have a great day!

Oh good! I’m glad to hear you enjoyed that, Sheri. I’ll try to share more, as even in my current life, I sometimes need polished pieces like this for meetings and such.
That would be great 🙂
You got it!
