“By women for women”

It’s a phrase I use often…

As you may or may not know, I’ve been investing in female-founded businesses for the last four years or so. And in the last year, I launched a venture capital fund called Curate Capital. When asked about the industries we invest in, I answer it this way: We don’t limit ourselves to specific industries. Rather, we invest in companies by women for women. In other words, these companies are founded and run by women and create products/services aimed at other women as their primary customer.

I’m all about empowering women!

So, imagine my pure delight when Pink Products reached out to tell me about their new brand of nutritional supplements by women for women. It was an automatic match made in heaven, so to speak. I immediately jumped at the chance to learn more about this new company.

Over the past two months of using the products and getting to know the company, I’ve indeed learned a lot that I’m excited to share with you!

Keep scrolling to read my thoughts on the products and more about the company – including a Q&A with the team behind Pink…

My Thoughts on Pink Products

First, a personal confessional… Truth be told, I’ve never been super disciplined about taking vitamins regularly. I know, I know. Bad Carrie. If I’m being honest, I’ll go through phases of taking a multivitamin every day and sometimes adding a few other supplements. But I’ve always had issues with them upsetting my stomach and such. Or, frankly, I’d just forget to take them and get out of the habit.

But, I know taking vitamins is a good thing that I should be doing. So, I had actually been on the lookout for a go-to vitamin brand to start taking earlier this year. I knew I needed something that worked well for me that I could consistently take regularly.

Needless to say, I was thrilled when Pink Products reached out this spring! I don’t know about you, but particularly these days, I’m more conscious than ever about the products I purchase. I want it to be more than just a monetary transaction. I want to know the company behind the products, the people behind the company, and the values behind the people. In essence, I like to know that I am, in some small way at least, “doing good” with the dollars I spend.

So, discovering a mission-driven brand founded by women for women with a commitment to high-quality products was a dream come true for me!

Over the past two months, I’ve had the opportunity to try a number of Pink Products – including (1) Get Up & Go B12, (2) Biotin Beautiful, (3) Be Well Cranberry, (4) Dazzling Hair, Skin, and Nails, (4) Beauty Rest Melatonin, (5) Simply Radiant Multi for Her, and (6) Renew You Probiotic for Her, among others. And I’ve had great experiences with them all!

My personal favorites are the (1) Get Up & Go B12, (2) Dazzling Hair, Skin, and Nails, and (3) Simply Radiant Multi for Her. The Get Up & Go provides a much-needed spark with B-12 and L-Carnitine. The Dazzling Hair, Skin, and Nails worked from the inside out to make me shine. And the Simply Radiant Multi for Her seemed to do its job, while not upsetting my stomach as some multivitamins tend to do. I appreciate the fact that it’s in the form of berry-flavored gummies. That seemed to work much better for me than the traditional capsule form.

Q&A with the Pink Products Team

I recently had the chance to chat with the women behind Pink and ask them some questions about the company and its products…

When did you start Pink?

Pink has been in the works since 2019, but we just had our official launch in February 2020.

Why did you start Pink?

Pink was founded on the foundation of inspiring wellness for every woman, everywhere. Our goal is to make targeted formulas that give today’s women what they need to be empowered to be their best selves. Life gets crazy, and we women rarely take time to put ourselves first. Whether we’re busy moms, hustling in our careers, going to school, or anything else in between, it’s easy to put self-care on the backburner. That’s where Pink comes in. We want to make health and wellness products that are not only effective and high-quality but in fun to take forms such as our gummies or our Simply Collagen Beauty to Go stick packs, so that every woman everywhere can take time to put herself first and make her wellness a priority.

What’s your background professionally/business-wise?

The women behind Pink have combined over 50 years of experience in the vitamin and supplement industry, so we’re no strangers to wellness!

What differentiates Pink from other companies who make vitamins for women?

One of the biggest factors that sets Pink apart is that we are made by women, for women. Not only was the brand developed by women, but we made sure that there were women behind every step of the Pink process. From the product formulations to the label and bottle design, to the quality assurance, manufacturing, and packaging, there are women working through every step of getting Pink into your hands. Because who knows what women need better than other women?

What mission drives what you do at Pink?

As a women’s wellness brand, our primary focus is supporting the overall well-being of women everywhere. Aside from our mission of inspiring women to prioritize their health and wellness, we also operate our brand with a cause by partnering with charities that support the varying needs of women, our youth, and their families across the US. With every Pink purchase, a portion of that sale is donated to charity, because when women support each other, incredible things happen.
