I don’t know about you, but when I encounter kind people throughout my day, the entire day is significantly better. Whether I’m in the drive thru line getting my daily Diet Coke or picking up some toiletries at Walgreens or grabbing dinner at the grocery store, when the cashier is kind and friendly, it makes a world of a difference. It may seem small, but it’s actually extremely impactful.

When I’m out and about, I do my very best to always be pleasant (even if I’m PMSing). Because the way you are to others can make a big difference in their day.

Bad Moods Happen

And I get it. Sometimes you’re just in a bad mood. I totally get it. However, did you know if you even just smile it’ll help your mood, even if just momentarily. I’m not saying you need to have a full on conversation with every person you come across throughout your day, but a smile goes a long way. Being nice and kind is so incredibly important and can be so powerful.

As well, it’s just easier to be kind. It takes more work to be rude and nasty. Life is too short to be anything but kind. Even in the situations that make you upset.

If something angers you terribly, it can be difficult to just put on a happy face and be all happy go lucky. However, it’s never necessary to be mean. In fact, your point will get across a million times better if you’re kind.

Try it.

Ripple Effect

Life is a rollercoaster. Times are crazier than ever. And it’s not slowing down. Think about what’s in your control, and guess what guys? Being kind is 100% entirely in your control.

Think about how it would look if everyone chose kindness. Imagine that.

And it all starts with you.

Kindness is a ripple effect, so if everyone tries their best to start the ripple, it would be a very pleasant place for all.

Your Thoughts
