When You Focus on the Good

I’m a firm believer that your thoughts create your reality. I truly believe that you can manifest pretty much anything in your life if you believe in it, and I mean truly believe in it, not just say you believe it.

Granted, this isn’t always the easiest thing to do nor does it happen overnight. However, if you focus on feeling the way you would feel if you did, in fact, have x, y or z (even without having it), well I’m pretty confident x, y, or z might become a reality for you.

I don’t believe this only holds true for when you want something you might not currently have, but also when you already have that in which you desire. Don’t just forget about the feelings once you feel the happiness, but keep on focusing on it. Don’t lose sight of it.

It’s not to say that if you focus on the happy and the good that you’ll never have an unhappy or bad day or moment. That’s not the case at all. Life is full of both ups and downs, and it’s important to embrace both the good and the bad in all their glory. And if you do focus on the greatness, it’s just going to get better. It’ll continue to manifest itself to you in one way or the other. Don’t, for once, take it for granted. Focus and keep feeling those feelings. Feel the feelings deep within yourself, down to your core.

As much as it would be nice if life was just full of only great moments, we likely wouldn’t grow very much if that was the case.  We might not be able to fully appreciate the good if we never had to experience the not so good. We become stronger and wiser from the less than ideal moments in our lives, so when I say fully embrace both the good and bad, I mean fully embrace both.

It doesn’t sound so fun to embrace bad moments, I know. Though, it’s important to allow yourself to feel the bad, not resist it. Feel it, accept it, understand it, and move on from it. And then when the good happens, enjoy it, embrace it, feel gratitude for it, and focus on it.

Focus focus focus.
