Happy Friday, my friends! We’ve made it through another week. And what a fun week it has been! Who can complain when March MadnessSt. Patrick’s Day, and spring break all collide?

We spent spring break in beautiful Aspen, Colorado. The weather couldn’t have been better. Plus, we got some fresh powder, which made for great skiing. [ Side note: be sure to follow along on my travels on Snapchat (username: wearwherewell). There’s another exciting trip coming up next week! ]

Now, let’s talk spring fashion… On Monday, I shared my new found love for Isa Arfen. Today, let me expand on that by sharing five need-to-know designers that I am loving this spring. Each of these designers has something unique and fresh to add to your wardrobe this spring. Keep reading for more details…

5 Need-t0-Know Designers for Spring 2016

1. Dodo Bar Or

Israeli designer Dorit Bar Or launched her line Dodo Bar Or in 2009. But thanks in large part to celebrities spotted in her clothes, the line of resort wear has really taken off recently. Dodo Bar Or reinterprets traditional beachwear with modern finishes. Based on authentic designs from her homeland, Dodo Bar Or updates kaftans and beachwear with contemporary flair.

2. Isa Arfen

As I mentioned, I already shared a lot about the Isa Arfen label and designer Serafina Sama earlier this week in this article. Needless to say, the creative silhouettes and brilliant pops of color speak to me.

3. Natasha Zinko

Ukrainian-born and London-based Natasha Zinko started out as a jewelry designer. Now, she’s expanded her offerings to include ready-to-wear pieces. I particularly like the way she plays with proportions and silhouettes. Who can resist the surprising addition of ruffles to basic pieces like a little black dress, a striped jersey dress, or a striped top?

4. Saloni

India-born Saloni Lodha founded her line Saloni in 2011. The feminine designs subtly embody the exotic style of her heritage. In her own words, “I always keep in mind my Indian heritage while designing but don’t translate it literally into our clothes. I think the way we as a brand celebrate bold colours and patterns is our way of bringing the spirit of India into the collections.” The intricate details and vibrant colors make for a perfect combination for spring. I particularly love this dress.

5. Self-Portrait

This isn’t the first time I’ve sung the praises of Self-Portrait (see here and here), but the line by Malaysian-born Han Chong deserves another mention. Self-Portrait has filled a critical gap in the fashion market by creating high-quality yet accessible women’s wear. The line is particularly known for its intricate lace dresses, which have been rendered in pretty pastels for the spring.

Bonus: Malone Souliers

You didn’t think I’d leave you without any options for shoes, did you? You know my love for shoes!

The new shoe label to know this season is Malone Souliers. Founded by Mary Alice Malone in 2014, Malone Souliers shoes are impeccably made with the finest materials. But there is nothing traditional about the designs. You can count on Mary Alice to create quirky, offbeat, unexpected designs. In her own words, she enjoys making “disobedient shoes in a luxury market”.

These fun designs provide the perfect finishing touch for your spring looks. Shop our favorite shoes from her spring collection here:

Which designers and pieces are your favorite? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Have a great weekend.
