March Letter from the Editor

Hello March!

Hello, fellow color lovers! I’ll spare you the standard “how is it March already” drivel. But we do find ourselves at the first Monday of the month, which means it’s time for March’s letter from the editor – my chance to share with you whatever is on my mind.

Truth be told, I like that monthly liberty. So, here goes!

What’s on my mind #1: 

Where does time goes? Can you believe I have an almost nine month old? I swear her first birthday will be here before we know it!

Make sure you didn’t miss my monthly letter to Elle celebrating eight months of her.

What’s on my mind #2: 

A quest for depth. Pardon my bluntness, but there is more to life than cute outfit selfies. Sure – you’ll always find fashion inspiration here. It’s a passion of mine.

But gosh – there is sure more to life! And I hope you allow us the opportunity to evolve and change and grow with you here.

What’s on my mind #3: 

Alt Summit.

I had the opportunity (last minute – seize the moment sort of deal) to go to Alt Summit in Palm Springs last week. Two of my friends (Ali Edwards and Amy Tan) were speaking at the conference, so I took the opportunity to support them. Plus, I was super excited to learn and network.

And let me just say that I came home super energized, excited, and inspired regarding what we are doing here! I’m blessed to be surrounded by an uber talented team of ladies. And equally importantly, I’m beyond grateful for you, the More Color, Please community! Thank you for understanding and supporting the power of color to effect our lives.

What’s on my mind #4: 

Product

Along the line of color, I’ll ask again… what sort of colorful product would you like to see from us? We are at a real decision point / turning point in terms of what we offer in our store.

One of the best takeaways from the conference was my friend Ali’s mini keynote. She shared four categories of products she considers when choosing the “right” product for her community.
